Start your season with a strong, established colony ready to grow and thrive.

Each 5-Frame Nucleus Hive includes five deep frames filled with a healthy working colony featuring a proven laying queen, along with eggs, larvae, capped brood, pollen, and honey stores. This balanced population allows your hive to build rapidly and establish quickly in its new home.

Pickup dates will be scheduled for evening hours to ensure safe handling of active colonies. Customers will receive email updates as pickup approaches, and installation instructions will be provided at pickup.

Nucleus hives will be available for pickup May 2026.

🐝 After Pickup

Transport your nuc directly to its permanent location. Follow the provided instructions to unplug the entrance and allow the colony to settle. Inspect and transfer frames into your hive the following day.

Once the nucleus hive leaves our premises, it becomes the full responsibility of the purchaser. Due to the nature of live bees, no refunds will be issued after pickup.
