This lightweight easy to use vacuum safely vacuums bees without harm. Use for swarm removal or cut-outs.  Great for hard to capture swarms and an essential tool for cut-outs. Exclusive to Deseret Hive Supply.

The Honey bucket bee vacuum has a 1.75 HP, 110 volt bucket head motor. (extension cord and power source required.) The 5 gallon container has a wooden disk with a wire screen and two handles. The wooden disk is inserted into the bucket and place snugly about 1/2 way down.  There is a hole at the bottom edge of the bucket for the suction hose to be placed. When the vacuum is turned on it will gently suck bees up into the bottom of the bucket and they are held below the wooden disk. We recommend emptying the bucket periodically by removing the head and the disk and dumping the bees into a separate  box or container to store the bees until you can place them in a hive. If more suction is need you can cover the inlet hole on the vacuum head which will give you more suction on the vacuum hose. Do not store bee’s in the bucket for long periods of time or in direct sunlight. This may cause over heating of the bees.
